NAS100 reclaims 30302 resistance as daily trend stays up

Renzo

NAS100 is stalling precisely at the 30302.6 resistance shelf, and how price resolves this level in the next session will define the near-term trend.

The index added 0.25% on the day and pressed a high of 30310.25, marginally clearing the prior resistance at 30302.6 that featured in last week's playbook. There are no high-impact macro catalysts driving the move; price action and positioning flows are running the show, which makes the technical read that much more important.

The daily trend remains up, and that is the foundation for a momentum long. EMA20 sits at 30182.18 and EMA50 at 29999.47, with EMA200 at 29615.25 well below — the full stack is aligned up on the daily timeframe. Price is trading above all three moving averages, which is the structural confirmation a trend desk needs. However, trend alignment is mixed when shorter timeframes are included, RSI sits neutral, and volatility is running at a normal clip, suggesting the move lacks urgency. The 30461.45 resistance is the next material target above.

We lean long and look to buy dips into the 30182–30254 zone where EMA20 and prior resistance converge as support. A daily close below EMA50 at 29999.47 breaks the bullish structure and flips the view neutral.
