EUR/USD slides toward 1.1329 as downtrend accelerates

Renzo

EUR/USD is in clean-trend mode — no conflicting signals, no mixed timeframes, just a pair grinding methodically lower session after session.

The pair is effectively flat on the day, down a fraction within a tight 1.1361–1.1375 range, but the weekly picture tells the real story: roughly 0.93% wiped out over the past five sessions with every meaningful prior support now flipped to resistance. Levels at 1.1386, 1.1480 and 1.1554 that held earlier in the month have all been surrendered, leaving the tape exposed to the next support cluster near 1.1329.

The trend-following read here is unambiguous. The 1H, 4H and 1D structures are all pointing lower, delivering a clean aligned-down signal. Price trades below EMA20 at 1.1382, below EMA50 at 1.1439, and well below EMA200 at 1.1576 — the full EMA stack is inverted and working. RSI sits in neutral-to-weak territory without being stretched into oversold, which means there is no mechanical barrier forcing a bounce before the next leg. Volatility is calm, meaning the move is orderly rather than a panic flush — trend continuations in low-volatility environments tend to be the more durable variety.

We look to sell any rally into the 1.1382–1.1386 EMA20 and former support zone. A 4H close above EMA50 at 1.1439 invalidates the setup and signals a broader short-squeeze is underway.
