DAX 30 stalls at 24725 as mixed signals demand patience

DAX 30 is threading the needle between EMA200 support and a stack of unresolved resistances, with trend signals pulling in opposite directions and no newsflow to break the deadlock.

The index shed 0.26% on the day, carving a range from 24713.3 to 24814.2 before settling in the 24725 area. There is no fundamental catalyst on the wire, leaving price mechanics to drive the session entirely. The prior week's performance — down over 1.2% — reflects the broader drift away from the recent highs near 24891.9 and 24897.55, both of which have now rolled to broken resistance.

The tape is not offering a clean read. The daily trend remains up, but the four-hour frame has turned lower and the one-hour sits neutral, leaving trend alignment decidedly mixed. RSI is neutral without being washed out, and volatility is running at normal levels, offering no volatility-compression setup to trade off. Price is hugging EMA200 at 24725.13 — the only meaningful support separating the bulls from a test of 24653.3. EMA20 and EMA50 both sit near 24845 and 24851, well above current price, confirming the bears have recaptured the short-to-medium term momentum.

We hold here and wait for resolution. A 4h close above 24754.8 reopens the case for a trend continuation toward 24818.9; a break below 24723.05 puts 24653.3 in play and invalidates the constructive daily view entirely.
