DAX 30 slides under 24748 as short-term trend turns lower

Renzo

DAX 30 is grinding lower beneath stacked overhead supply, and the shorter timeframes are no longer giving bulls the benefit of the doubt.

The index is off a modest 0.17% on the session, but the intraday range of 24680.8 to 24814.2 tells a cleaner story: sellers defended every push toward the top of the range and price has settled just under the 24747 resistance cluster. No macro catalyst is driving the move — this is pure trend attrition as prior broken levels act as new supply.

The setup favours continuation lower. Price sits below EMA20 at 24832.97 and EMA50 at 24846.09, and those two moving averages are converging to form a compressed ceiling overhead. The 1H and 4H trends are both pointing down, with the daily sitting neutral — a mixed alignment that does not argue for fresh longs. RSI is drifting in neutral-to-weak territory and volatility is normal, giving the move room to extend without a climactic squeeze. EMA200 at 24727.08 is the immediate cushion; a clean break below that brings the 24653 support zone into play, and then 24582.

We lean short and sell rallies into 24747 to 24818 while EMA20 at 24832.97 caps. A daily close above 24832.97 invalidates the bearish read and forces a full reassessment.
