DAX 30 slides toward 23922 as bear trend tightens grip

Renzo

DAX 30 is pressing the lower end of its range and the bear case is not ambiguous — six support levels have given way in the past week, and the index has found no meaningful bid.

The index is down fractionally on the session and off more than 3% on the week, printing a 24065.05 high before sellers capped any recovery attempt near the 24115.3 resistance shelf. There is no major news catalyst in this window; the selling is tape-driven, and that makes the trend signal cleaner, not noisier.

The setup is straightforward for a trend-following desk. Price trades well below EMA20 at 24441.37, EMA50 at 24656.18 and EMA200 at 24557.95, with the entire moving average structure overhead as supply. Trend is aligned down across the 1H and 4H timeframes with the daily only just holding neutral — a courtesy that will not last if 23922.6 breaks. RSI is in oversold territory, which on a trending instrument is a momentum confirmation, not a reversal signal. Volatility is elevated and the daily range is expanding, both consistent with a market in distribution. Prior broken levels at 24484.3 and above now act as resistance on any recovery.

We lean short and sell rallies into the 24065–24115 zone. A daily close back above EMA20 at 24441 invalidates the bearish structure and forces a stand-down.
