DAX 30 reclaims 24933 as 1H/4H trend points higher

Renzo

DAX 30 is quietly reasserting short-term upward pressure, holding above a rising EMA stack after a week that saw multiple prior resistance levels cleared.

The index is marginally softer on the day, off roughly a tenth of a percent, but the session range of 24900.60 to 25033.90 tells a better story than the closing change: buyers defended the 24892 support shelf on each dip. No fresh macro catalyst is in the tape this window, so price action itself is doing the talking.

The setup favours the upside. DAX trades comfortably above EMA20 at 24873.70, EMA50 at 24862.01 and EMA200 at 24745.73, with the short-term trend aligned higher on both 1H and 4H timeframes, even if the daily remains neutral and overall alignment stays mixed. RSI sits in neutral territory, leaving meaningful room for momentum to extend before readings become stretched. Volatility is normal, and the prior week's sequence of broken resistance levels speaks to the structural bid that has carried this index into current territory. For a momentum-following desk, a constructive EMA stack with an intact 1H/4H trend is enough to lean long.

We look to buy dips into the 24873–24893 zone where EMA20 and the nearest support converge. First resistance sits at 25018.40, with 25097.25 the next meaningful offer above. A daily close below 24808.15 invalidates the constructive read.
