DAX 30 holds EMA20 pullback as 4H/1D uptrend stays intact

DAX 30 is handing back a portion of this week's gains, but the trend-follower's playbook stays intact as long as the EMA stack holds.

The index slipped 0.60% on the session, printing a high of 25098.70 before sellers stepped in and pushed price to a low of 24876.95. No headline catalyst drove the move — this reads as a technical consolidation after six consecutive support levels were taken out over the past week, the most recent of which cleared 24692.40.

The structure remains constructive. Price is threading the needle just above EMA20 at 24901.61 with EMA50 at 24806.11 and EMA200 at 24686.77 stacked cleanly below in bull order. Trend is aligned up on the 4H and daily timeframes, though the 1H has gone neutral, reflecting the current digestion phase. RSI sits in neutral territory and volatility is normal, both consistent with a healthy pause rather than a reversal. The prior session's resistance cluster at 25017 and 25097 is the immediate ceiling that needs a clean reclaim to reignite momentum.

We buy dips into the 24897–24936 entry zone and target the resistance shelf at 25017.50 first, then 25097.25. A daily close below EMA50 at 24806.11 invalidates the call and forces a reassessment of near-term trend direction.
