DAX 30 holds EMA20 at 24824 as weekly uptrend intact
DAX 30 is doing exactly what an uptrend should after a strong weekly rally: digesting gains without surrendering structure.
The index is marginally softer on the day, printing a fractional decline after testing as high as 25036.4 in the session before sellers capped the run near the 25017.5 resistance cluster. No macro catalyst drove the pullback — the tape is consolidating a near-1% weekly gain, with price now parked just above the 24825.35 intraday low.
The setup remains constructive for trend-following desks. Price sits above EMA20 at 24824, EMA50 at 24754, and EMA200 at 24662, with the full moving-average stack intact. Trend alignment reads mixed at the shorter horizon, with the 1H frame neutral, but the 4H and daily both point higher — the dominant signal for any momentum-oriented approach. RSI sits in neutral territory, leaving room for momentum to build without overextension concerns, and volatility remains normal, keeping risk/reward tidy. Prior context is supportive: a string of resistance levels broken over the past week has cleared the path for continuation toward 25017 and 25097.
We look to buy pullbacks into the 24824–24829 zone where EMA20 and the intraday low converge. A daily close below EMA50 at 24754 invalidates the call and signals a deeper unwind is underway.
