DAX 30 holds above 24935 EMA20 as daily uptrend stays intact

Renzo

DAX 30 is consolidating just below the 25001 session high, holding its ground above a stacked EMA structure that the daily trend has built over the past fortnight.

The index is up 0.14% on the day after printing a range from 24823.5 to 25001.3, and is 0.69% higher on the week. No fresh macro catalyst is driving the overnight session; price action is working through the 25017.5 resistance shelf on its own momentum.

From a trend-following perspective, the structure remains constructive. Price sits above EMA20 at 24935.26, EMA50 at 24840.31, and EMA200 at 24693.15, with each level stacked in order and all three cleared in the prior session's run. Trend alignment is mixed on shorter timeframes, with the 1H and 4H yet to confirm what the daily is already showing, but this is characteristic of a healthy consolidation phase rather than a reversal signal. RSI sits neutral and volatility is normal, leaving the tape neither stretched nor sluggish. The break above prior resistance at 24797.9 and 24818.9 has already been confirmed.

We look to buy dips into the 24935–24840 zone where EMA20 and EMA50 converge. A daily close below 24797.9 invalidates the bull case and demands a reassessment; while that level holds, the trend follower's playbook favours the long side.
