DAX 30 fades toward EMA200 as intraday trend turns mixed

Renzo

DAX 30 is threading a needle between a daily uptrend that refuses to roll over and intraday momentum that has gone cold, leaving the tape at a defining inflection point near the EMA200.

The index is off 0.69% on the day and registered a session low of 24699.65, briefly undercutting the EMA200 before recovering back toward the 24778 area. The weekly read is similarly soft, with the index down nearly 0.81% over the past five sessions, and prior resistance at 24818.90 has now flipped to supply overhead. No fresh macro catalyst is driving the move; the drift lower reads as positioning fatigue rather than a directional conviction shift.

The structural setup remains constructive for a trend-following lens, but requires patience. The daily trend is up, EMA20 at 24865.86 and EMA50 at 24859.24 sit closely stacked above, and EMA200 at 24749.90 has absorbed the intraday flush. RSI is sitting in neutral territory, trend alignment across timeframes is mixed rather than broken, and volatility is within normal range — conditions that historically precede a trend resumption rather than a sustained reversal. The 24723.05 support level, which held in prior sessions, reinforces the demand zone below current price.

We lean long and look for re-entries in the 24723–24749 zone with 24818.90 as the first resistance to clear. A daily close below 24653.30 invalidates the bullish read entirely.
