DAX 30 fades below 24484 as bearish momentum builds
DAX 30 is under pressure, trading on the offer side of the 24484 resistance shelf with the shorter-term trend stack pointing cleanly lower.
The index shed ground across the session, printing a daily range between 24415.8 and 24542.5 before settling in the lower half of that band. No single macro headline has dominated, but the tape is telling its own story: price has slipped beneath EMA200 at 24555.36, EMA50 at 24775.02 and EMA20 at 24638.88, and the bears have not faced a credible reclaim attempt.
From a momentum desk perspective the structure is readable. Trend is aligned lower on the 1H and 4H frames with the daily sitting neutral — that mixed alignment argues for selling into strength rather than chasing. RSI sits in neutral-to-soft territory with room to push further toward oversold before exhaustion becomes a concern, and volatility is elevated, which tends to exaggerate directional moves once a clear supply zone caps. The 24484 resistance level, which aligns with prior intraday highs, is now the immediate ceiling. Below price, 24367.5 is the first meaningful support, with 24328.9 and 24245.7 lining up beneath should selling accelerate.
We lean short and sell rallies into the 24458–24484 supply zone. Conviction hinges on price staying below EMA200; a daily close above 24555 invalidates the call and reopens the range.
