BTC/USD slides under 63088 as downtrend alignment tightens

Bitcoin is not finding buyers — it is finding lower levels, and the trend stack is leaving no ambiguity about who controls this tape.

BTC/USD is off roughly 0.37% on the day, ranging between 62349.80 and 63088.20, extending a weekly decline that now exceeds 1.3%. No fresh macro catalyst is required to explain the move; the prior week saw levels at 63895.15, 62309.55 and 61339.42 all break in sequence, and the market has not recovered a single one.

For a trend-following desk, the setup is clean. Price sits well below EMA20 at 64241.63, EMA50 at 64452.04 and EMA200 at 69620.10, with each moving average acting as a descending ceiling rather than a base. Trend is aligned down across every timeframe, RSI is drifting in the lower register without yet reaching exhaustion, and volatility is elevated — a combination that historically extends rather than arrests a directional move. Immediate support at 62309.55 is the only nearby structure of note; beyond it, 61339.42 and 61147.00 come into view. Resistance clusters between 63895.15 and 64198.69 cap any counter-trend bounce.

We lean short and sell rallies into the 63895.15 shelf. A daily close back above 64198.69 forces a stand-down; below 62309.55, momentum accelerates toward 61339.
