BTC/USD slides toward 63645 as bearish trend tightens grip
Bitcoin is grinding lower with the shorter and daily timeframes both pointing in the same direction, and the tape is not offering the bulls much to work with.
Price traded a 63660.21 to 64780.20 range on the day before settling near 63951 for a loss of roughly 0.42%. The prior week saw a sequence of supports give way in succession, extending a trend of progressive lower lows across several sessions with no meaningful base forming.
The structural picture argues for caution on the long side. Both the 1H and 1D trends are pointing down, with the 4H neutral at best — trend alignment across timeframes is mixed, not constructive. Price sits meaningfully below EMA20 at 65157.53 and EMA50 at 64797.52, with EMA200 at 70079.34 marking the broader regime overhead. RSI sits in neutral-to-soft territory, consistent with a market leaking rather than capitulating, and volatility is elevated, which keeps stop distances wide. For a momentum desk, the path of least resistance remains lower until price reclaims the EMA stack. The first downside anchor sits at 63645.45, with 62309.55 and 61339.42 below that.
We look to sell rallies into the 64357–64797 supply zone, treating any intraday bounce as distribution. A daily close above EMA50 at 64797.52 invalidates the bearish lean and forces a reassessment.
