BTC/USD slides toward 59067 as 4H/1D downtrend reasserts

Bitcoin is struggling to establish a floor, with the dominant trend structure pointing lower and every rally so far this week getting sold into supply.

BTC/USD has added less than 0.9% on the day, masking a broader weekly decline of over 3%. Price oscillated between 57773.07 and 59436.23 in the last 24 hours, a range consistent with elevated volatility, but closed the session back under the EMA20 at 59576.57. The week-long erosion of levels previously held — including 60524.55 and 60919.53 — leaves the market in a structurally weaker position.

From a trend-following perspective, the read is clear. Trend is aligned bearish on both the 4H and daily timeframe, with the 1H sitting neutral and offering no meaningful counter-signal. Price trades below EMA20 at 59576.57, EMA50 at 60577.25, and EMA200 at 64211.78, a fully inverted EMA stack that argues sellers retain control of the tape. RSI is drifting below the midpoint without being oversold, and with volatility elevated, momentum favors continuation rather than a bounce. The prior context confirms it: multiple resistance levels broken to the downside over the past week with no successful reclaim.

We look to sell rallies into the 59436–59576 zone. A daily close above 60524.55 forces a reassessment; until then, the downtrend deserves respect.
