AUD/CAD presses 0.9921 as full trend stack holds aligned up

Renzo

AUD/CAD is holding its weekly momentum cleanly, with the trend stack pointing up and every meaningful resistance cleared in the prior seven sessions — this is a tape that has been doing exactly what a trend-follower wants to see.

The pair is fractionally softer on the day, down a fraction of a percent, and trading inside a tight 0.99103 to 0.99206 intraday range. No specific macro catalyst drove the session, but that matters less when the structural work has already been done: a staircase of prior levels has been broken and left behind over the past week, with the 0.99058 level confirmed as support on the last retest.

The setup remains intact. Price sits above EMA20 at 0.98974, EMA50 at 0.98768 and EMA200 at 0.98688, with the full EMA stack ordered bullishly below current price. Trend is aligned up across 1H, 4H and 1D simultaneously, RSI is neutral with room to run before becoming stretched, and volatility is normal — conditions that favour trend continuation over mean reversion. The next supply zone sits at 0.99299, followed by 0.99539 above that. With the 0.98974 EMA20 acting as dynamic support, dips into the 0.98974–0.99003 pocket offer a favourable entry for trend-following longs.

We buy dips into the EMA20 zone and look for a grind toward 0.99299. A daily close back below nearest support at 0.98938 forces a stand-down and reopens the consolidation range.
